A City Worth Supporting

Houston has played an important role in Hugo's story, and giving back has remained an important part of the H Town Restaurant Group philosophy.

Hugo, Tracy, and the restaurant family have supported organizations focused on hunger relief, homelessness, culinary education, healthcare, the hospitality industry, and the preservation of food culture.

For the organization section, I would keep the existing names but greatly shorten the descriptions. The current Chef Hugo site includes The Beacon, Houston Food Bank, Foodways Texas, James Beard Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Periwinkle Foundation, Texas Restaurant Association, Greater Houston Restaurant Association, Tequila Interchange Project, Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau, and American Cancer Society.

The Beacon

Supporting individuals experiencing homelessness through hot meals, essential services, and programs designed to help people move toward greater stability. Chef Hugo has participated in the organization's Come to the Table gala.
